PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an electrolytic solution for electrochemical devices which is superior in battery characteristics (including charge and discharge characteristics) and achieves high safety; and a lithium ion secondary battery.SOLUTION: An electrolytic solution comprises: a nonaqueous solvent; an electrolyte; and a compound expressed by the following general formula (1). Rf-R-X-Ar-Z-Ar'-X'-R'-Rf' (1) (In the general formula (1), Rf and Rf' independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted perfluoroalkyl group having a main chain with 2-18 carbon atoms; R and R' independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted divalent carbon hydride group having a single bond or a main chain with 1-8 carbon atoms; X and X' independently represent a sulfur atom, an oxygen atom, a SO group or a SOgroup, provided that X and X' are different from each other; Ar and Ar' independently represent a substituted or unsubstituted aromatic group or alicyclic group of which the number of atoms forming a ring is 5-20, provided that Ar and Ar' are different from each other; and Z represents a substituted or unsubstituted divalent carbon hydride group or oxy carbon hydride group, which has a main chain with 1-8 carbon atoms.) |
