PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermocouple that makes it possible to measure the temperature of material in a high-temperature range of 1500°C or more with high accuracy and at low cost, and conductive ceramic for the thermocouple.SOLUTION: Conductive ceramic for a thermocouple according to the present invention comprises at least one of zirconium diboride and titanium diboride, silicon carbide, sintering aid, and unavoidable impurities, with the silicon carbide content of 5 mass% or more and 40 mass% or less.
