PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing program capable of being efficiently updated.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a data processing device that runs a program involving access to a database. The data processing device of the present invention includes: syntax data retaining means for retaining syntax to access the database; database accessing means for reading and managing syntax from the syntax data retaining means, and for accessing the database based on the managed syntax according to a request; and program execution means for running a program involving access to the database via the database access means. The syntax retained by the syntax data retaining means has contents that absorb difference between the configuration of the database and the configuration of the program execution means.
