<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for stabilizing refrigeration performance of a cryogenic refrigerator.SOLUTION: A displacer of a cryogenic refrigerator 1 includes a container having a high-temperature end and a low-temperature end, a cold storage medium filled inside the container, and an insertion member 35 inserted into a region in the container having the cold storage medium filled therein. Here, the insertion member 35 is structured so as to allow channel resistance of refrigerant gas flowing from the high-temperature end toward the low-temperature end of the container to become larger than channel resistance of refrigerant gas flowing from the low-temperature end toward the high-temperature end. Further, the insertion member 35 has a refrigerant gas channel, which includes a first opening facing toward the high-temperature end side of the container and a second opening facing toward the low-temperature end side of the container, and the channel is structured such that the area of the first opening is made larger than that of the second opening.</p> |
