PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide steel strip continuous pickling equipment in which, when a heat exchanger is installed on a bottom of a pickling tank, contact of the heat exchanger and a steel strip can be efficiently prevented and deposition of scales to the heat exchanger can be efficiently suppressed without incurring deterioration in pickling efficiency and complication of facility maintenance.SOLUTION: Continuous pickling device 10A is provided in which: a bottom installation type heat exchanger 5 is installed on a bottom of a pickling tank and in proximity of a portion at an upstream side of a steel strip progress direction d1, of a dam 1; and a protection dam 4 for protecting the bottom installation type heat exchanger 5 is installed with the bottom installation type heat exchanger 5 interposed between the protection dam 4 and the dam 1. The protection dam 4 has an upper end whose position is higher than that of an upper end of the bottom installation type heat exchanger 5, and lower than a liquid level of an acid liquid 2 in the pickling tank 6, and a slit 4a for allowing the acid liquid 2 to pass therethrough is provided in the protection dam 4. |
