PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device which never generates or hardly generates a difference in a steering feeling between a turning increase and a turning return.SOLUTION: The steering device equipped with a pinion shaft having a pinion on an outer peripheral face thereof and a rack shaft having a rack to be meshed with the pinion, comprises: a rack housing that has a recessed part on an inner peripheral face thereof and houses the rack shaft; a rack guide that has a protruding part, which is shaped to be smaller than a width in a shaft line of the rack shaft in the recessed part and arranged in the recessed part, contacts the outer peripheral face of the rack shaft and the inner peripheral face of the rack housing and guides the rack shaft along the shaft line; and a spacer that contacts one side and the other side in the shaft line of the rack shaft in the protruding part and is arranged between an inner face of the recessed part and an outer face of the protruding part. |
