PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an energy consumption amount of a fuel cell system.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system A comprises: a turbine 32t that is disposed in a cathode off-gas passage 24 and is driven by a cathode off-gas flowing in the cathode off-gas passage; and a cooling water pump 32 that is driven by either or both of a cooling water pump driving electric motor 32m and the turbine 32t. The fuel cell system A further comprises: a turbine bypass passage 25 that bypasses the turbine 32t to make the cathode off-gas passage's upstream side from the turbine and the cathode off-gas passage's downstream side from the turbine connect with each other; and a turbine bypass control valve 26 for controlling an amount of a cathode off-gas flowing in the turbine bypass passage. At least part of a gas flowing in the cathode off-gas passage is enabled to bypass the turbine through the turbine bypass passage. |
