PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which allows the evaluation of a used car by a criterion other than travel distance at the sale of used cars.SOLUTION: For a used car with the expired guarantee period of a car maker or a used car beyond the travel distance guaranteed by a car maker, the numeric value of an odometer indicating the travel distance is changed to 0 km, to prevent the alteration of the odometer such that a travel distance impossible for a used car is displayed. |
