PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane electrode assembly which allows for manufacturing of a fuel cell excellent in power generation performance and durability.SOLUTION: Cathode catalyst ink is prepared by blending a cathode catalyst with a solvent, performing primary dispersion under conditions that the dispersion energy exceeds 0.5 Wh/mL, blending a primary fluid dispersion thus obtained with an electrolyte resin, and performing secondary dispersion. A membrane electrode assembly 2 is obtained by coating one side of an electrolyte membrane 5, in the thickness direction, with cathode catalyst ink and then drying the electrolyte membrane 5, thereby forming a cathode electrode 7. |
