PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is arranged so that the rate of rise in battery resistance after execution of high-rate charge and discharge cycles can be kept down, and is superior in thermal stability.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a negative electrode 31; a positive electrode 32; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode 31 includes: a negative electrode current collector 31a; and a negative electrode mixture layer 32b provided on the negative electrode current collector 31a. The negative electrode mixture layer 32b includes negative electrode active material particles, of which the circularity is smaller in an end portion 32b2 of the negative electrode mixture layer 32b in comparison to that in a center portion 32b1 of the negative electrode mixture layer 32b. |
