<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation device which, even in a configuration employing a pair of endless fixation members to form a fixation nip, stably conveys a recording medium, preventing distortion and wrinkling of the endless fixation members, and in which the endless fixation members have long-life.SOLUTION: A fixation device 6 includes: a first fixation member 61 which conveys a recording medium and is endless; a second fixation member 62 which contacts with the first fixation member 61 and is endless; a first nip forming member 621 which contacts with the inside of the fixation member 61 to press a recording medium between the first fixation member 61 and the second fixation member 62; and a drive member 642 which contacts with the inside of the second fixation member 62 to sandwich the first fixation member 61 and the second fixation member 62 with the first nip forming member 621 to rotationally drive the second fixation member 62 together with the first fixation member 61.</p> |
