<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of safely achieving adjustment of the weight of a counterweight with high reliability at low cost, and surely preventing any damage to a rope and parts related thereto even when a rope swing occurs.SOLUTION: An elevator device comprises: an elevator car and a counterweight each of which is elevatably provided in a hoistway, which are connected with each other by a rope, and which are lifted/lowered mutually by a hoist; and a sub weight holding unit which can hold a sub weight for changing the weight of the counterweight, which is installed in a state where it is penetrated by the rope above the counterweight, and which can supply and recover the sub weight to and from a loading part on the counterweight. A cushioning member is provided at an opening through which the rope of the sub weight holding unit penetrates so as to prevent the rope from contacting with the inner periphery of the opening when the rope swings.</p> |
