<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing ethanol, in which a lignocellulose material is used in ethanol production in a pulp producing facility.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing ethanol from a lignocellulose material with a distillation device utilized in pulp production and at least two or more reaction towers (or wash towers) communicated in tandem. In the method, the lignocellulose material is supplied with alkali and distilled by the distillation device, the material subjected to alkali distillation (material suspension) is continuously applied to the reaction towers (or wash towers), and saccharifying process is carried out in at least one or more reaction tower (wash tower).</p> |
