PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene coated steel tube having extremely low production amount of mist or the like generated from an inner face even when executing fusion or weldment with high heat gain on an outer face.SOLUTION: There is provided a polyethylene coated steel tube having a coated film containing zinc of 40 to 70 mass%, a molybdic acid compound of 1 to 10 mass%, a solvent glue silica of 10 to 20 mass% and alkylene silicate of 10 to 40 mass% on a steel tube inner face.
