PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iris authentication device which maintains stable authentication accuracy under various environments.SOLUTION: An image processing part 122 performs processing for extracting a pupil and an iris from an image for authentication inputted from an input part 110. An authentication part 124 uses a registration image of an iris stored in an authentication database 140 to perform matching processing about the iris of the image for authentication specified by the image processing part 122. A display control part 126 notifies an authentication target person of the fact that an authentication UI performs authentication during iris authentication, and improves iris authentication accuracy by changing authentication UIs. An output part 130 displays an authentication UI on the basis of display control of the authentication UI by the display control part 126. An image for authentication is acquired while the authentication target person visually checks the authentication UI displayed on the output part 130. The authentication database 140 stores a registration image of an iris of each user which is photographed and acquired in advance.
