PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a water-soluble binder resin for nonaqueous secondary battery electrodes which can obtain an electrode slurry capable of achieving a satisfactory dispersibility of an electrode material, and has a superior binding property; a binder resin composition for nonaqueous secondary battery electrodes; a slurry composition for nonaqueous secondary battery electrodes; an electrode for nonaqueous secondary batteries; and a nonaqueous secondary battery.SOLUTION: A binder resin for nonaqueous secondary battery electrodes comprises a copolymer having 20-99.8 mass% of a structural unit (A) expressed by the general formula (1) below, 0.1-50 mass% of a structural unit (B) expressed by the general formula (2) below, and 0.1-50 mass% of a structural unit (C) expressed by the general formula (3) below.
