PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a larger amount of data via a code image.SOLUTION: A projector 1 includes: storage means 11 storing data; dividing means 12 for dividing the data into pieces of sub-data of a predetermined size; encoding means 13 which encodes each of the sub-data and order information indicating the order of the data, to generate a plurality of code images; and projection means 14 which displays the code images at a first frame rate. A tablet terminal 2 includes: imaging means 21 which sequentially captures the code images displayed by the projection means 14, at a second frame rate higher than the first frame rate; decoding means 22 which decodes the code images extracted from the captured images; and connection means 23 which connects the data decoded by the decoding means 22.
