<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of void, regardless of the image area ratio of a print use state.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 500 including photoreceptors 2Y, 2M, 2C, and 2K, electrifying devices 3Y, 3M, 3C, and 3K, an exposure device 6 which forms an electrostatic latent image on an image carrier, developing devices 4Y, 4M, 4C, and 4K which develop the electrostatic latent image, to obtain a toner image, an intermediate transfer belt 7 which transfers the toner image to a transfer paper P, photoreceptor cleaning devices 5Y, 5M, 5C, and 5K which remove the toner of the photoreceptors, and a fixing device 12 includes a travel distance counter 120 which counts the travel distance of the photoreceptor, an image area ratio counter 130 which counts the area ratio of the toner image, a heater 20 which heats the inside of the image forming apparatus, and heater control means 110 for actuating the heater, when a filming count value calculated from the travel distance counter and the image area ratio counter becomes a previously set predetermined value or more.</p> |
