<p>The retainer has arms (15, 17) provided on an electrode side of a high-voltage insulator (31) and comprising a retaining unit (27). An installation unit is provided on an installation side of the insulator, and a restoring element (43) forms an articulated connection between the installation and retaining units. The restoring element allows the retaining unit and a high-voltage electrode (13) to move from operating position during cleaning the electrode in an exhaust gas channel (9) and allows the retaining unit and the electrode to automatically return to the operating position.
