FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. The invention describes systems, devices and techniques for assessment of noise power in a wireless communication system. According to one aspect, described techniques are applicable for assessment of noise power in a channel of an ascending communication line, such as a PUCCH channel used in networks as per Long Term Evolution (LTE).
