Method for production of polyelectrolyte in the underground reservoir for treatment includes stages of introduction of treatment compound to the underground reservoir that contains polyelectrolyte predecessor and formation of polyelectrolyte from the polyelectrolyte predecessor in result of protonation of functional chemical groups of the polyelectrolyte predecessor in salt or in result of reaction of amide functional group of the polyelectrolyte predecessor with one or more reagent included into composition of the treatment compound.
