The present invention relates to a method for preliminarily approving a non-face-to-face financial transaction using an automatic response system. According to the present invention, the method for preliminarily approving a non-face-to-face financial transaction using an automatic response system comprises: a first step of controlling and maintaining a transaction denied status of a non-face-to-face financial transaction of a customer in a method for providing preliminary approval of a non-face-to-face financial transaction using an automatic response system executed by a server; a second step of confirming an ARS (Automatic Response System) based calling channel which bypasses a telephone network using a customer′s calling terminal before the customer requests a financial transaction; a third step of confirming the transaction approved conversion request of the customer for a non-face-to-face financial transaction of the transaction denied status by reading signal data corresponding to DTMF (Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) signals inputted through the customer′s calling terminal in response to a voice announcement of the ARS (Automatic Response System) using the calling channel; a fourth step of controlling and converting the non-face-to-face financial transaction of the customer into a transaction approved status based on a request of the conversion into a transaction approval confirmed through the calling channel; and a fifth step of restoring the non-face-to-face financial transaction of the customer which is converted into the transaction approved status in accordance with designated conditions of the transaction denied status.
