The present invention relates to a system for forming ribs of an injection mold which forms rib space parts by repeatedly cutting, in the vertical direction, one inner side of a cavity of the injection mold. According to the present invention, an apparatus for forming ribs of an injection mold forms the predetermined rib space parts on an upper mold, which faces a lower mold including a core and includes a cavity part on the inside thereof. The apparatus for forming ribs of an injection mold includes: a vertical-type machining center including a fixating unit which fixates the upper mold to form the rib space parts on one inner side of the cavity part of the upper mold, a cutting unit which forms the rib space parts on one inner side of the cavity part of the upper mold by a vertical slotting cutting process without rotation of a spindle, and a transfer unit which transfers the cutting unit to have vertical movement; and a control unit which controls a cutting operation of the vertical-type machining center. |
