The present invention relates to a wheelchair wherein a portion of a seat can be reciprocally moved in a front upward direction. The present invention provides a wheelchair wherein a conventional wheelchair is improved to be divided into a movable unit which can be upwardly moved and a non-movable unit which cannot be upwardly moved. The wheelchair comprises: a frame unit having an upper frame and a lower frame; a seat placed on the upper frame, wherein a user can sit; an armrest placed in both sides of the seat; a backrest placed in the rear of the seat; and a first and a second wheel placed in both sides of the frame unit. According to the present invention, the movable unit of the wheelchair comprises: a seat moving unit composed of a portion of the seat; an armrest; and a backrest. Therefore, a wheelchair user can safely sit on the seat moving unit when moving or after moving by moving along with the armrest and the backrest while sitting on the seat moving unit.
