The present invention provides a mirror display capable, during a mirror mode, of matching a surrounding environment having diffusely reflecting surfaces and an electronic device using the mirror display. A mirror display (1a) according to the present invention is provided with a half mirror plate (4a) having a reflective polarizer (8) and with a display device (2), and is such that the half mirror plate (4a) is additionally provided with a light diffusion member (9) for diffusing at least a portion of incident light and the display device (2), reflective polarizer (8), and light diffusion member (9) are disposed in that order from the rear surface side. |
