摘要 A pH adjustment system, which is disposed inside a nuclear reactor building (1) that accommodates a nuclear reactor containment vessel (10) for housing a pressure suppression pool (14) capable of storing cooling water and a nuclear reactor pressure vessel (11), is provided with: a pH adjustment device (20) having a pH adjusting agent tank (21) for storing a pH adjusting agent and a pressurization air cylinder (22) connected via a compressed air supply pipe (28) to the pH adjusting agent tank (21); and a pH adjusting agent supply pipe (29) for supplying the pH adjusting agent to the pressure suppression pool (14). The pH adjustment device (20) is provided with air-operated valves (24, 25) that pressurize the pH adjusting agent tank (21) using compressed air from the pressurization air cylinder (22) and make it possible to inject pH adjusting agent into the pressure suppression pool (14) via the pH adjusting agent supply pipe (29). As a result, even in the unlikely event of an emergency such as loss of the AC power source, pH adjusting agent can be supplied into the nuclear reactor containment vessel.
