A rotary engine, comprising: a cylinder (10), with a first piston groove (11) and a second piston groove (14) on the inner wall of the cylinder; the cylinder is provided with a combustion chamber (40), the combustion chamber (40)communicating with the first piston groove via an air guide channel (43), being provided with a spark plug (41) and a fuel injection nozzle (42) therein, and being provided with a gas charge port (44) located on the side of a sliding cambered surface of the first piston groove; the cylinder is provided with an inlet port (12) and an outlet port (13) both extending from the inner wall thereof to the outside; two swinging pistons (30) respectively fitted in the first piston groove and the second piston groove and being provided with one fitting end thereon; a resilient element; the rotor comprises two sealing ends slidably and hermetically fitting the inner wall of the cylinder, and one fitting surface slidably and hermetically fitting the fitting end is respectively formed between the two sealing ends on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor. The rotary engine can decrease the slope surface resistance in a piston swinging process. |
