2.1 The invention relates to a snare instrument with a snare structure (1) which is formed by slitting and bending open a tubular piece (2) and which has a proximal base portion (3) and, extending axially forwards from the latter, a distal catching portion (4), and which is movable between a catching position, in which it is moved forwards out of an enclosure (6) with the catching portion folded open, and a securing position, in which it is moved back at least partially into the enclosure with the catching portion folded in. 2.2 In the snare instrument according to the invention, the catching portion, in the folded open state, has a bell shape with a distal catching opening (7). For this purpose, a distal end area of the tubular piece is provided with open axial slits of suitable length introduced from the direction of the distal end of the tubular piece, and, lying between these, with associated closed axial slits which end at a distance in front of the distal end of the tubular piece and are of greater length than the open axial slits. Through the open and closed axial slits, wire sections are formed from the tubular piece which, when the tubular piece is bent open, form peripheral portions of the catching opening. 2.3 Use, for example, as medical instruments for catching stones. |
