A harmful material oxidizing apparatus for removing harmful materials from a ship is disclosed. The apparatus for oxidizing harmful materials comprises: a storage part for storing hydrogen peroxide (H2O2); a catalyst part in which a catalyst for converting the peroxide (H2O2) into a OH radical by decomposing the same is provided; and an oxidation reaction part in which the peroxide (H2O2) and the OH radical are supplied through one end, harmful materials are supplied through the other end, and the harmful materials are oxidized by reacting the same with the peroxide (H2O2) or the OH radical. Therefore, provided is an apparatus for oxidizing harmful materials capable of allowing harmful materials having different chemical characteristics, which are contained in the exhaust gas discharged from a ship, to be simultaneously removed.
