SYSTEM FOR SEPARATING AND RECOVERING CARBON DIOXIDE

A system for separating and recovering carbon dioxide which includes an adsorption tower, a regeneration tower, and a drying tower. In the adsorption tower, a gas to be treated is brought into contact with an adsorbent, thereby adsorbing carbon dioxide contained in the gas onto the adsorbent. In the regeneration tower, an ordinary-pressure wet gas that is a gaseous mixture of carbon dioxide and water vapor is brought into contact with the adsorbent onto which the carbon dioxide was adsorbed, thereby releasing the carbon dioxide from the adsorbent. In the drying tower, the adsorbent is dried. The system for separating and recovering carbon dioxide further includes: a compressor for compressing carbon dioxide; and an ejector in which the carbon dioxide ejected from the compressor is caused to expand while sucking negative-pressure water vapor, thereby producing the wet gas.
