<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image reading device capable of suppressing rattling during the movement of a storing member storing a reading device body.SOLUTION: An image reading device 10 includes: a reading device body 50 for reading a document placed on a document platen 14; a storing member 30 which stores the reading device body 50, and is supported by a columnar guiding member 22 to move from one end portion to the other end portion of the document when reading the document; a fixing portion 38 formed on the storing member 30, and fixed to a moving member 28 for moving the storing member 30; and a guided member 40 provided on the storing member 30, and formed with a pair of plane surface contacting portions 47 contacting with the guiding member 22 at two points in a circumferential direction when viewed from a moving direction of the storing member 30, in a downstream side area of the fixing portion 38 in the moving direction of the storing member 30, in an axial direction of the guiding member 22.</p> |
