<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device that appropriately eliminates influence of aberration generated due to an imaging position and a photographing condition. <P>SOLUTION: A camera system (1) being the imaging device includes an imaging unit (imaging element (9)) that performs imaging by using an imaging optical system (SL), an aberration correction unit (aberration correction converter (40)) that corrects the aberration of the imaging optical system (SL), a face detection unit (33) that determines whether an image corresponding to a face is contained in an image imaged by the imaging unit, and a control unit (camera body CPU (27)) that corrects the aberration of the imaging optical system (SL) with the aberration correction unit, when the face detection unit (33) determines that the image corresponding to a face is not contained in the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
