PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backup control device and the like that performs control so as to allow a continuous access to a storage device even if the storage device for storing information fails.SOLUTION: A backup control device 1 includes: a control unit 3 that executes processing to a first storage unit according to a write processing instruction including first position information; a conversion unit 2 that converts the first position information so as to allow access to a second storage unit; and a transmission control unit 4 that controls a communication unit 5 to transmit a first write processing instruction including the converted first position information and controls the communication unit 5 to transmit/receive a reply to the first write processing instruction.
