Disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention is an application management method, comprising: opening a pre-generated shortcut interface, said shortcut interface comprising a shortcut switch region and an application sidebar region, wherein the shortcut switch region is used for displaying a plurality of application shortcut switch icons and the application sidebar region is used for displaying icons of currently running applications; and, on the basis of an operating control command input by the user in the shortcut interface, performing a corresponding operation on an application corresponding to an application icon on the shortcut interface and/or an application corresponding to a shortcut switch icon. Also disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention is a terminal. Using the embodiments of the present invention, a shortcut switch region and an application sidebar region can be displayed simultaneously on a shortcut interface, enhancing the operability of the interface icons, and improving the user experience. |
