The purpose of the present invention is to provide an aluminum alloy fin material for a heat exchanger having excellent corrugated moldability and excellent strength after brazing heating. This fin material comprises, in terms of percentage by mass, Si: 0.5-1.5%, Fe: 0.1-1.0%, Mn: 0.8-2.2%, Zn: 0.4-2.5, and 0.02-0.3% of one or more of Cu, Ti, Zr, Cr, and V, the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities. In the metallic structure before brazing heating, the density of second-phase particles having an equivalent circle diameter of less than 0.1 μm is lower than 1×107 particles/mm2, the density of the second-phase particles having an equivalent circle diameter of 0.1 μm or larger is 5×104 particles/mm2 or higher, the tensile strength before brazing heating TSB (N/mm2), the tensile strength after brazing heating TSB (N/mm2), and the sheet thickness t (μm) of the fin material satisfy the relationship of 0.4≦(TSB-TSA)/t≦2.1, and the sheet thickness is 150 μm or less. |
