[Problem] To propose a fixing apparatus and a fixing method, wherein, in a state in which an HDD is housed in a housing, the HDD is firmly fixed to the housing, and at the time of inserting/removing the HDD into/from the housing, the fixed state in which the HDD is firmly fixed can be released. [Solution] This fixing apparatus for fixing an electronic apparatus is characterized in that: the fixing apparatus is provided with a housing tray for housing the electronic apparatus, and a housing for housing the housing tray; the housing tray houses the electronic apparatus by fixing the electronic apparatus by means of a supporting fitting; and the housing is provided with an expanding body that expands, and houses the housing tray by fixing the housing tray by means of the expanding body in the state wherein the housing tray is housed in the housing. |
