摘要 The present patent application comprises a new gas bubble breaker arrangement (100) which is installed centrally in relation to the central axis of the riser (1) forming the production pipe (2) of a petroleum-production well (3); in a preferred embodiment, the bubble breaker (100) comprises a central body (101), the geometry of which has an ordinary droplet shape, forming an annular Venturi comprising a lower region (102) or Venturi nozzle, an intermediate region where there are apertures (103) and where the greatest flow restriction or Venturi throat is located and an upper region (112), which is called the Venturi diffuser. At the periphery of the maximum diameter (x1) of the body (101) there are preferably evenly spaced, multiple longitudinal grooves or re-entrant portions (103); where the body (101) is tangential to the internal wall of the production pipe (1) two chambers are formed in said production pipe that are in communication with one another via the apertures (103), namely the lower chamber (C1) that acts as inlet for the Venturi nozzle (102) for the two-phase flow (F1)/(F2) with gas bubbles (B1) of various sizes, and the upper chamber (C2), which acts as outlet for the two-phase flow (F1)/(F2) with gas bubbles (B2) broken into smaller sizes, forming a kind of foam. This geometry combines the desired features of smaller head loss and satisfactory efficiency in terms of bubble breaking. The lower head loss occurs owing to the smoother geometry thereof and the existence of a certain degree of pressure recovery in the diffuser.
