PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection element that prevents a solar cell from being failed without lowering generation power of the solar cell and to provide a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: The bypass diode for a solar cell is described. The bypass diode for a solar cell includes a substrate of the solar cell. A first conductive region is disposed on the substrate and is a first conductivity type. A second conductive region is disposed on the first conductive region and is a second conductivity type opposite to the first conductivity type.
