<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a melting type flux for submerged arc welding which exhibits good welding workability such as arc stability, slag peelability, a bead outer appearance and shape, and by which weld metal having sound and excellent mechanical performance without defective welding can be obtained even when a high-strength steel sheet is subjected to submerged arc welding under a high-speed welding condition.SOLUTION: A melting type flux for submerged arc welding contains, by mass%, CaO:5-25%, MgO:1-5%, AlO:15-29%, CaF:30-50%, SiO:15-25%, MnO:0.5-15%, TiO:0.2-5%, BaO:1-5%, BO:0.1-1.5% and the balance iron oxide with inevitable impurities.</p> |
