<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that exhibits sufficiently high heating efficiency in electromagnetic induction heating for a fixing rotating body and further reduces temperature increase time of the fixing rotating body, and an image forming device. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device includes: a fixing rotating body 21 having a first heat generation layer which is electromagnetic induction heated by an exciting coil part 25; a heat generation rotating body 23 having a second heat generation layer which is electromagnetic induction heated by the exciting coil part 25 facing thereto across the fixing rotating body 21, and rotatably formed in internal contact with the fixing rotating body 21. A nonconductive part 23a is formed in a part of the heat generation rotating body 23. The heat generation rotating body 23 is rotated to move the nonconductive part 23a toward the exciting coil part 25 to vary the amount or distribution of heat generated in the second heat generation layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
