<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable extraction of an optical cable in a rack for housing optical communication devices and convection guidance devices alternately in the vertical direction, without forming an optical cable insertion space between each optical communication device and each convection guidance device located right underneath thereof, when extracting the optical cable from the rear to the front of the optical communication device. <P>SOLUTION: A rack convection guidance device includes: side plates 21; and a convection guidance plate 22, disposed to be bridged across the side plates, for leading an airflow in an installation space 4, located right underneath, obliquely upward to eject the airflow from an optical communication device 10 outside the rack. At least on one of the side plates, a hollow 25 penetrating through a cross direction is formed. An opening 25b of the hollow communicates with a front space S1 of the optical communication device, while a rear opening 25a of the hollow communicates with a rear space S2 of the optical communication device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
