The novel device is intended to perform separation, distraction or extension of bones using a mechatronic system which combines mechanics and electronics so that the action is controlled and automated to optimize the activations with improved results. No manual activations are made, which facilitates the procedure for any surgeon or doctor during or after surgery of stimulating a growth or extension of the bone.
