IMPROVED METHOD FOR INTRA VECTOR PREDICTION

Efficient block-copy vector (BV) prediction methods are proposed. BVs in a block are suggested to be predicted from neighboring IBC PU'sBVs. Specially, the first PU's BV predictor of the 3rd CU's in one coding-quadtree and the 3rd PU in each CU's BV predictor should be from neighboring CUs and PUs.
