A humidifier is provided with a housing, a blower which is provided within the housing and which takes in air into the housing, and a humidification section which is provided within the housing and which humidifies the air having been taken in into the housing by the blower. The humidification section has an upstream humidification section and a downstream humidification section which is disposed downstream of the upstream humidification section and which has higher saturation efficiency than the upstream humidification section.
