<p>Linaclotide is a guanylate cyclase type C receptor (GCC) agonist used in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders and conditions, including irritable bowel syndrome and chronic constipation. Crystalline form II of Linaclotide is prepared in high purity and yields and shows superior chemical stability in comparison to known crystal or amorphous forms of Linaclotide. A process for the purification of Linaclotide is also provided.</p> |
