A capsule for the preparation of a liquid food product, configured for insertion into a brewing machine, has a body (3) that comprises a circumferential wall (4), a top face (5), and a bottom (6). The top face comprises a foil (5), which is secured to an upper flange (7) of the circumferential wall (4) and has at least one grippable portion (5a), this grippable portion (5a) having a proximal border defined by a corresponding portion of the border of the foil (5). The foil (5) is circular, and an annulus-shaped peripheral portion thereof, including the corresponding border, is laid over the flange (7). The grippable portion (5a) is defined within an annulus-shaped area of the foil (5), which is concentric to the foil itself and the outer circumference of which corresponds to the circumference of the foil (5). At least one of the foil (5) and the flange (7) is configured for enabling application of a pulling force on the grippable portion (5a) in order to remove the foil (5). |
