A surgical lighting system includes: a lighting portion 10 having a light emitting diode 15; and a fixing needle 11 configured to fix the lighting portion 10 to a living organism to be operated on. After the lighting portion 10 is placed so that light of the lighting portion 10 is directly incident on an operative field, the needle 11 is inserted into biological tissue to fix the lighting portion 10 to the living organism. |
