PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas circuit breaker whose entire body can be reduced in height and also whose closing operation spring can be easily adjusted by a simple operation which does not increase workload.SOLUTION: A gas circuit breaker of the present invention has a configuration for solving the problem, in which: a spring operation unit for driving a movable contact includes a breaking operation spring, a closing operation spring, a breaking operation spring housing case for housing the breaking operation spring, and a closing operation spring housing case for housing the closing operation spring; and a sealed tank, a link mechanism and the spring operation unit are arranged on a straight line, the closing operation spring housing case is arranged above the closing operation spring housing case, and a working hole is formed in the closing operation spring housing case to allow working tools for adjusting spring force of the closing operation spring to be brought therein. |
