PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control cable capable of reducing not only vibration but also a wind load.SOLUTION: A vibration control cable 1 includes: a cable body 2 including a core material 5 formed by bundling a plurality of steel wires 4, and a coated layer 6 formed on an outer peripheral side of the core material 5; and a helical protrusion 3 formed on an outer peripheral surface 7 of the coated layer 6 and helically extending around the core material 5. An axial distance P at which the helical protrusion 3 advances in an axial direction of the core material 5 when making one round around the outer peripheral surface 7 is set within a range of 3-6 times an outer diameter D of the cable body 2, and a height of the helical protrusion 3 from the outer peripheral surface 7 is set within a range of 1-5% the outer diameter D of the cable body 2. |
