PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy material having excellent corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a magnesium alloy material which is composed of a magnesium alloy containing 7.3 mass% or more and 16 mass% or less of Al, when the content of Al of the entire magnesium alloy material is defined as x mass%, a region having an Al content of (x×0.8) mass% or more and (x×1.2) mass% or less is 50 area% or more, a region having an Al content of (x×1.4) mass% or more is 17.5 area% or less and a region having an Al content of 4.2 mass% or less substantially does not exist. |
